About Me.
Photographer, floral creator, social media instructor, and podcast host teaching Instagram marketing and content creation for creatives, florists, and small businesses.
One of my favorite things is meeting new people and helping them share their joyful stories.
I’m a floral and still-life photographer based in Ohio and Chautauqua, NY, known for creating soulful, light-filled images styled with intention and rooted in beauty. Blending storytelling with vintage-inspired aesthetics, my work invites others to slow down, look closely, and find meaning in the everyday.
What began as a personal creative outlet during a stressful season quietly bloomed into something more. Sharing floral photography on Instagram led to unexpected opportunities—from building a vibrant online community (@alajamie) to collaborating with brands like UrbanStems and YSL Beauty.
For over 20 years, I taught communication and social media as a college instructor. Today, I partner with individuals and brands through photography, workshops, speaking, and one-on-one coaching. I lead classes at institutions like the New York Botanical Garden, speak at retreats and events, and guide creatives, florists, and small business owners in growing their presence with clarity, confidence, and creativity.
I’m also the co-host of the ReBloom podcast—a space for honest conversations about reinvention, purpose, and blooming again after life’s big and small pivots.
My work has been featured in Bella Grace, Country Living, and Somerset Studio—but at its core, my mission is simple: I believe beauty and creativity connect us. Whether it’s a photograph, a podcast episode, or a moment of encouragement, I hope to help others see what’s possible when we slow down, share our stories, and bloom in our own time.
Let’s create, connect, and bloom together.
